  Tespar Technology pdf

Unlike conventional frequency domain techniques such as Fourier analysis, our patented Tespar technology is based on a mathematically proven methodology that analyses the shape of the waveform.

We combine our patented innovative Tespar patented signal processing algorithms with standard signal processing methods, for implementation on microcontrollers, DSPs, Windows based PCs / PDAs, or other processor platforms.

Tespar is a language of such precision and economy it facilitates highly sensitive analysis by the simplest of processors.

The waveforms being processed by Tespar can be generated from acoustic, vibration or electrical signals.

The waveform is coded into a simple stream of symbols using a proprietary Tespar coder and classified using a variety of data processing methods for optimal classification performance.

Summary of the Tespar process

The Tespar technology converts waveforms from your sensors into fixed sized data structures that can easily be analysed mathematically to generate a meaningful and useful output to your process.

The waveform is divided into small sections which are each converted into a Tespar symbol that are used to populate the fixed sized data structures.

By analysing these fixed sized data structure, along with other signal related information, we produce a output tailored to benefit your business in various ways. It could be tailored to:

  • Provide a quantitative measurement e.g. calculate the efficiency of your industrial process.
  • Identify when a specific condition is present in your process e.g. when a piece of machinery is beginning to fail - facilitating preventative maintenance.
  • In speech applications, determine which word has been spoken and by whom.
  • Determine whether someone is attempting to physically access a secure area.
