Developed and patented by mathematics Professor Reginald King and colleagues including Tespar director Ashley Elkins at the University of Bath and subsequently at Cranfield University (the Royal Military College of Science).
Tespar has been subsequently utilised across the signal processing spectrum from seismic rumbling at below 1 hertz right up to lightning strikes, radar and radio signals in the megahertz and gigahertz region.
Tespar commercial licences have been granted to numerous organisations, from defence research agencies to international blue chip organisations, covering a wide range of applications from continuous process monitoring to impulse identification and classification.
